Happy Africa Day

Africa day celebrates the beauty of a continent with various natural resources as well as beautiful, creative and diverse cultures and people. We celebrate the love of unique foods, unique fashion, and thriving hope.
Africa is a home for growth and hope, however Africa is not only limited to Africa, it is where ever Africans are, it is where ever the the culture, the food the fashion is found. Today we are reminded of how far Africa has come as a continent thriving through all the troubles that it has faced but not only that but we are more so reminded to commemorate the achievements, the goals and the progress of the whole content.
Girls
We also want you to have this pride and confidence wherever you are in the world. Let your celebration take place not only on the 25th of May but whenever you decide to celebrate your heritage. As a brand that celebrates diversity of cultures, Yanafella today celebrates this day by showcasing our hand made African prints for your kid’s everyday wearables.

First we have this Chichi top named after an African princess. The print is a conglomeration of many colours that seek to reflect everything about Africa from its natural resources to the jovial atmosphere and mood of the kids. This top can be worn with cream, red, blue or black shorts. Also red bottoms/ trousers would go very well for a birthday celebration at the park or home.
Boys

The idea behind our heritage themes is to bring kids together in an environment that appreciates their difference as well as their innocence without compromise. For Boys we have this shorts and T-shirt set. It comes in yellow and red Tee. Boys will be boys and we want to keep it that way, boys want to be free so that they can be their creative and playful selves. This is the space for them the shorts are made with elastic waist band and they are comfy and free to move in, the T-shirts have a patch that matches with the shorts, stretchy and 100% cotton. We know that they want to be free in their clothes but we won’t compromise quality and looks for that, mummy still wants her boys looking like her boys ( stylish).

One Major win for Africa is the creativity, it’s almost impossible to say the word creativity without mentioning Africa. Through hand made products many Africans tell a story without having to speak. They pour out their hearts on to the things which they make. Yanafella’s seamstress goes above and beyond to put smiles on children’s faces. African fashion is quickly becoming a huge force in global fashion industry, so we wanted to show you some of Yanafella’s top designs, have a look at the soft booties, bloomer sets and skirts, all handmade.
